It is also known as the row of lights or the festival of lights. It is celebrated very happily by decorating homes with lots of lights, diyas, candles, fireworks, reading arti, distributing gifts, sweets, greeting cards, sending messages, making rangolis, playing games, eating delicious foods and many other activities.

Shops selling earthen lamps, pots, decorative LED lights, and various other articles had come up in large numbers along busy streets and roads. People were busy looking for what item is the best for their house’s decoration. With so many options to choose from, it’s was easy to find something that suits your budget.

Crackers are the main attraction for children and adults on Deepawali. Concerned about public safety the government had regulated the sale of crackers in market places. Crackers were sold only on grounds designated by the district administration.
