Have you ever wondered that somebody is watching you right now, through your webcam or monitoring your moves through search modules? I never thought that somebody would track me, what I type in search box. We are heading towards a dark age ahead indeed just like the net neutrality issue.
Interesting fact- Your keystrokes are recorded by third parties as soon as you type them, even if you never submit the form. If you accidentally copy-paste something, that’s recorded too, surprised yet? Session replay scripts record everything, like someone looking over your shoulder, and send it to a third party website. Often it includes passwords, medical info, and other personal info.
Well I am not trying to bum you guys but it’s the hard truth.
‘Session replay’ scripts record everything, like someone looking over your shoulder, and send it to a third party. It includes passwords, conversation through phones, medical info, and other personal info.
Even if you’re visiting an HTTPS site, your data might be sent over the network in the clear! Not a failure of HTTPS — it’s because the 3rd party doesn’t enable HTTPS when the publisher logs in to replay your session.
In short, whatever you do online, be careful. I really mean it. Happy new year folks, celebrate it in actual real life, not in a virtual one. Cheers.
Trying to make as many mistakes as I can while there's still time.
